Bulgaria is the bridgehead for my country's cooperation with Central and Eastern Europe in agriculture and other fields. Shanghai Jiaotong University established the Bulgaria Center in January 2016, and signed cooperation agreements with many research institutions such as Plovdiv Agricultural University and Sofia University. With the Bulgarian center as a platform, deepen scientific and technological cooperation, provide scientific and technological support for the upgrading of Bulgaria's agricultural industry such as modern agriculture and rural development, and promote in-depth cooperation between Chinese and Bulgarian enterprises and cultivate an international scientific and technological cooperation base. It has conducted scientific and technological cooperation in many areas of agriculture, rural areas, and the environment, organized the "Belt and Road Sustainable Modern Agriculture and Food Safety Training Course", undertook two cooperation projects between China and Bulgaria at regular scientific and technological meetings, and conducted more than 30 scientific and technological exchanges between bilateral personnel.
