Detailed introduction:

Introduction

A.P. Bingqin YU, got the PhD degree of Landscape Architecture at Beijing Forestry University, did post-doctorate researches at TU Berlin, and now is an associate professor in Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She majors in history of landscape architecture, landscape hydrology, and urban community sustainable design. She has hosted five programs at national, ministerial or provincial-level, and participated in nine major projects. She has published five papers in SCI/SSCI/EI journals, and more than 40 papers in professional mainstream journals and international conferences. She has obtained one authorized national invention patent, and applied six national invention patents and one international patent. She has published more than 5 books and participated in the compilation of 3 technical guidelines for sponge city construction.

She has won 3 scientific research awards and more than 20 teaching awards. In 2017, she was selected into the Morning Star Talent Program of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. In 2018, she won the first prize of Shanghai Young Teachers' Teaching Competition, with the title of Teaching Expert and Excellent Advisor. In 2019, she won the honorary title of March 8th Red-banner Pacesetter of Shanghai and the first prize of The National Blended Teaching Design Innovation Competition of Colleges and Universities.

International Cooperation

(1) International Summer School: Chinese Garden Research & Chinese Garden culture and Ecological Exploration

In the year of 2016 and 2017, she organized the international students (undergraduate and graduate students) to participate in the international summer school, who were invited from Iran, Israel, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries all over the world to study the Chinese garden culture and ecological wisdom, in Shanghai Jiao Tong university, which strengthened the exchanges and cooperation of world garden culture.

(2) Sino-German Joint Design Camp

She Organized the China-Germany joint design camp between Shanghai Jiao Tong university and the Technological university at Berlin. The riverside landscape is along the Huangpu River in Shanghai, which is used for design practice, discussion, group cooperation, rapid design, and project report in summer camp, promoting the exchanges and cooperation between teachers and students in the two universities.
